Ukraine’s automotive output sees seven percent growth in Jan-Nov

According to the data issued by the Ukrainian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association - Ukrautoprom, in January-November this year Ukrainian automakers produced 71,642 vehicles, registering a seven percent year-on-year increase. In particular, during the period in question, local automakers produced 64,538 cars - up one percent, 2,377 buses - up 119 percent, and 4,727 trucks - up 109 percent, all compared to January-November 2009.

In November this year, Ukraine's automotive output saw a decrease of 13 percent month on month, but an increase of 164 percent year on year to 8,433 units, including 7,720 cars - down 14 percent, 251 buses - up 22 percent, and 462 trucks - down 13 percent, all compared to October.
