The US International Trade Commission (ITC) Thursday announced a final injury determination in the antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations of steel grating from China.
As previously reported by SteelOrbis, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced affirmative final determinations on June 1, in which the DOC assigned a dumping rate of 145.18 percent on mandatory respondents Ningbo Jiulong Machinery Manufacturing Co. Ltd/Ningbo Zhenhai Jiulong Electronic Equipment Factory and Shanghai DAHE Grating Co. Ltd. A separate rate of 136.76 percent was assigned to Sinosteel Yantai Steel Grating Co. Ltd., Ningbo Haitian International Co., Ltd./Ningbo Lihong Steel Grating Co. Ltd. and Yantai Xinke Steel Structure Co., Ltd.
The rates were subject to the recently announced final injury determination, which means the DOC will now issue formal AD and CVD orders against the aforementioned companies.
The products covered by these investigations are currently classified in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) under item number: 7308.90.7000.
