Spain’s motor vehicle exports start 2013 with rise

According to the information provided by Spanish Automobile and Truck Manufacturers' Association (Anfac), in January this year, motor vehicle production in Spain increased by 11.9 percent year on year to 179,096 units. In January, passenger car production rose 13.4 percent year on year to 138.066 units, while industrial vehicle production increased 11.2 percent year on year, with 36,615 units.

Anfac said that motor vehicle exports in Spain started the year with an increase, growing 12.2 percent year on year in January to 151,125 units. In the month in question, the passenger car exports of the country rose 12.9 percent compared to January 2012, increasing to 113,160 units.
