The Russian government has decided to cancel the import duty on large diameter (LD) concrete coated pipes under the 7305 11 000 4 HS Code for a nine-month period. The decision No. 99 dated February 10, 2009 becomes effective two months after its official publication.
The pipes in question will be used in the construction of the Nord Stream gas pipeline, which will link Russia and the European Union via the Baltic Sea.
