OMK’s ATZ sees a 33.1 percent increase in pipe output in Jan-Apr

The Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has announced that in January-April this year its Tatarstan-based subsidiary Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (ATZ) increased its pipe output by 33.1 percent to 53,052 mt, and raised its shipments by 27.1 percent to 54,142 mt of pipes, both compared to the same period last year.
In April 2010, ATZ produced 14,565 mt of pipes - up 1.7 percent, and delivered 15,523 mt - up 5.2 percent, both compared to March.
