OMK’s ATZ sees 29.8 percent increase in pipe output in Jan-May

The Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has announced that in January-May this year its Tatarstan-based subsidiary Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (ATZ) increased its pipe output by 29.8 percent to 67,462 mt, and raised its shipments by 26.3 percent to 68,406 mt of pipes, both compared to the same period last year.
 
In May 2010, ATZ produced 14,410 mt of pipes - down 1.06 percent compared to April this year.
