The Malaysian government has announced its affirmative final determinations in the antidumping duty (AD) investigations against pre-painted and color coated steel coil imports from China and Vietnam. The government has decided that the mentioned imports cause material injury to the domestic industry since the export price of the subject products are less than their normal values. However, the government also announced a zero dumping margin for imports of the mentioned products from Vietnamese producer Nam Kim Steel Joint Stock Company.

Accordingly, the final dumping duty rates range from 12.06 percent to 52.10 percent for the two countries.

The products in question currently fall under the Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7210.70.210, 7210.70.290 and 7210.70.900.
