Kazakhstan news agency has reported.
"The innovative industrial program of
Kazakhstan provides for doubling metal
production by 2015 from the level of 2008...The program sets such targets as raising steel
production to up to 10 million mt a year from the current 4 million mt and increasing output of ferrochrome to 440,000 mt and output of aluminum to 250,000 mt," President Nazarbayev said.
