As reported by Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in May this year the wholesale selling prices of industrial products in Germany were down 0.9 percent compared to May 2013, following the 1.3 percent year-on-year price decrease recorded in April. Meanwhile, the wholesale price index decreased by 0.1 percent in May this year compared to April.
In May of the current year, wholesale prices of ores, metals and metal ores in Germany declined by four percent compared to the same month of 2013 and indicated a decrease of 0.2 percent compared to April.
