German wholesale metal prices down 6.3 percent in March

As reported by Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in March this year the wholesale selling prices of industrial products in Germany were down 1.7 percent compared to March 2013, following the 1.8 percent year-on-year price decrease recorded in February. Meanwhile, the wholesale price index remained unchanged in March this year compared to February.

In March of the current year, wholesale prices of ores, metals and metal ores in Germany declined by 6.3 percent compared to the same month of 2013 and indicated a decrease of 0.5 percent compared to February.
