According to the statistics released by
France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE), in November 2011
France's new industrial orders received, excepting heavy tranport vehicles, rose by one percent month on month. In October, a revised month-on-month decrease of 0.3 percent was registered.
Meanwhile, in November, export orders remained nearly unchanged as compared to the previous month, up 1.2 percent.
In November, industrial orders in the domestic metallurgical industry rose by four percent as compared to the previous month, while industrial orders in the manufacture of metal products except machinery increased by 2.8 percent as compared to October. In November, industrial orders in
France's automotive industry fell by 1.1 percent as compared to the previous month.
