EU-27’s GDP rises 0.8 percent in Q1 over Q4 2010

According to the estimates released by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, during the first quarter of the current year gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 0.8 percent quarter on quarter both in the euro area and in the EU-27. Compared with the first quarter of 2010, seasonally adjusted GDP increased by 2.5 percent both in the euro area and in the EU-27.
