Italy’s industrial output rises 0.3 percent in Nov from Oct

According to ISTAT, Italy's national statistics office, in November last year the seasonally adjusted index of Italian industrial production increased by 0.3 percent compared to October and declined by 4.1 percent compared to November 2010 when adjusted for calendar effects.

In November 2011, the seasonally adjusted production index decreased by 4.6 percent for intermediate goods, by 4.5 percent for instrumental goods, by 4.4 percent for energy and by 3.1 percent for consumer goods, all on year-on-year basis.

Meanwhile, in the first 11 months of 2011 the index dipped by 0.1 percent compared to January-November 2010.
