ERSEM and Turkish Metal Union sign collective labor agreement

Turkey's largest steelmaking group Eregli Demir ve Celik Fabrikalari TAS (Erdemir) has announced that collective labor agreement negotiations between its steel service center subsidiary ERDEMİR Çelik Servis Merkezi San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (ERSEM) and the Turkish Metal Union came to a successful conclusion on December 2, 2011. The collective labor agreement signed between two parties will be effective for 14 months between July 1, 2011 and August 31, 2012.
Strike and lockout decisions announced earlier have been canceled reciprocally.
