Turkey’s Isdemir to build container port

Turkey's largest steelmaking group Eregli Demir ve Celik Fabrikalari TAS (Erdemir) has announced that its Iskenderun-based subsidiary Iskenderun Demir ve Celik A.S. (Isdemir) will build a container port in an area which is located south of Isdemir. The company has decided to make the port investment given the geographical location and the needs of the region.
 
Isdemir has authorized its general directorate to initiate the proceedings and receive offers from potential investors.
