Turkey’s Isdemir increases daily coke production capacity

Turkey's largest steelmaking group Eregli Demir ve Celik Fabrikalari TAS (Erdemir) has announced that its Iskenderun-based subsidiary Iskenderun Demir ve Celik A.S. (Isdemir) has commissioned its modernized coke battery No. 4.
 
The company stated that it has invested $48 million in the modernization project. The newly commissioned coke battery increases the daily coke production capacity of Isdemir to 6,450 mt from 5,250 mt.
