China’s average daily crude steel output up slightly in late Jan

Thursday, 09 February 2012 17:32:53 (GMT+3)   |
According to the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), in late January (Jan. 21-31) this year China's average daily output of crude steel amounted to 1.673 million mt, increasing by 0.23 percent compared to mid-January (Jan. 11-20).

Market analysts state that the slight increase in steel output was mainly due to the positive anticipation of market players as regards the upcoming traditional peak season in March and April.
