Changzhi Steel’s crude steel output exceeds 3 million mt in 2011

Beijing-based Chinese steelmaker Shougang Group has announced that its subsidiary Shanxi-based Changzhi Iron and Steel Co.'s pig iron output in 2011 up to December 29 reached 3,274,991 mt, its finished steel output in 2011 up to December 28 totaled 1,989,100 mt, while its crude steel output for the full year of 2011 reached 3,110,103 mt.
 
Changzhi Steel's crude steel output for the year was 210,103 mt higher than the targeted output.
