Bayi Steel posts record steel plate output in October

Xinjiang-based Chinese steelmaker Bayi Iron and Steel (Bayi Steel), a subsidiary of Chinese steel giant Baosteel Group, has announced that in October this year its monthly output of steel plate exceeded 50,000 mt for the first time.

With the commissioning of cooling equipment in October at Bayi Steel's steel plate production facilities, output capacity has been increased.
