Arcelor Mittal Kriviy Rih, Ukraine-based subsidiary of the world's largest steel producer Arcelor Mittal, plans to increase its domestic sales in July.

The company's domestic sales director Mr. Vladimir Shalimov has stated that Arcelor Mittal Kriviy Rih was attracting domestic steel traders and other large consumers in order to raise its domestic sales.

For this purpose, starting from July 1, the company has changed its domestic sales discount system. In particular, Arcelor Mittal Kriviy Rih has introduced a sales discount system for A400 and A500 grades rebar, applying a one percent discount for volumes of 0.65-1.00 mt, two percent for 1.0-2.0 mt, three percent for 3.0-4.0 mt, and four percent for volumes of more than four metric tons.

In addition, the company has increased discounts for domestic wire rod sales: for volumes of 2.0-5.0 mt a discount of three percent is offered, for 5.0-8.0 mt the discount is four percent, while for more than eight metric tons a discount of five percent is offered.
