Pipe has been slow across the board for the past 30 days and the US domestic standard pipe market has not been immune to that trend.  “Everything is exactly where it was two weeks ago,” according to SteelOrbis sources. “There isn’t much going on that is worth writing home about.”

The most commonly reported spot price ranges for A-53 ERW BPE Grade A standard pipe has held in the approximate range of $42.50-$43.50 cwt. ($937-$959/mt or $850-$870/nt), ex-Midwest mill, while import offer prices from Korean, Vietnamese and Turkish mills are also trending lateral at approximately $33.00-$34.00 cwt. ($728-$750/mt or $660-$680/nt), DDP loaded truck in US Gulf coast ports.   But, as with our last report two weeks ago, anyone who is looking to book a larger-sized order will be able to negotiate deals.
