Atlas Tube raises HSS prices $30/nt

Atlas Tube is increasing the price on HSS products effective with all new orders received after 5:00PM CST April 13, 2012, according to a letter from the company late Friday.

Prices will increase by a minimum of:

All HSS Shapes up through 12 sq (Square and Equivalent Rectangles): US $1.50 cwt. ($33/mt or $30/nt)

All HSS Rounds up through 20"OD: $1.50 cwt. ($33/mt or $30nt)

All orders currently on the books will be price protected for shipments through May
12, 2012. This increase will apply to all unconfirmed quotes and contracts.
