SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that this week Turkish suppliers' offers to China for Cr203 lump chrome ore with 42 percent chrome content are at $270-275/mt CIF China, while Turkish offers to China for CR203 concentrate chrome ore with 48 percent chrome content are at $305-310/mt CIF China. Both prices have increased by $5-10/mt as compared to offers in mid-May.

While Turkish chrome ore exporters insist on maintaining their offers at high levels, Chinese buyers are generally seeking to conclude deals at as much as $5-10/mt below the above ranges.
