Further price increase seen in ex-US scrap transaction

According to market sources, a Turkish steel producer has concluded an ex-US deal for 20,000 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 scrap at $281/mt CFR, 12,000 mt of shredded scrap at $286/mt CFR and 6,000bonus grade and 2,000 mt of busheling scrap at $291/mt CFR, indicating an increase of $2/mt compared to prices in an ex-US deal heard yesterday, May 5.
