SteelOrbis is informed that Turkish mills are offering rebars for export to destinations other than the US at $1,100-1,150/mt FOB on actual weight basis for September/October shipments.

Turkish rebar producers have been decreasing their export offer price levels every week due to the low price levels in their target export markets. It is observed that the rolling mills that purchase billet from outside sources have been experiencing difficulties in competing in the rapidly changing export market, compared to the EAFs that produce their own billets.
