Over the past week, a few Turkish merchant bar re-rollers have decreased their offers by $20/mt on the lower end to $600-630/mt FOB, against the backdrop of currency fluctuations and weaker import scrap prices. Currently, official ex-Turkey equal angle offers are mostly standing at $600-630/mt FOB, for November shipment.

The SteelOrbis daily Turkish billet import reference price is available at $495-520/mt, down by $5/mt on the lower end, over the same period. In mid-October, a meeting was held in Warsaw for the improvement of trade between Turkey and Poland. "Inquiries are on the table. However, trading to Poland is challenging," one Turkish source mentioned.
