Buyers in the local Turkish merchant bar market have continued to conclude purchases only in line with their immediate needs over the past two weeks, while Turkish producers' domestic merchant bar prices have increased by TRY 80-90/mt since December 8 with the support of the upward movement seen in import scrap and billet quotations.
