In a letter to customers Monday, Gerdau announced it will decrease the published price on merchant bar products, including angles, channels, flats, rounds and squares, but $1.50 cwt. ($30/nt or $33/mt), effect with shipments as of Sept. 16, 2019.
US domestic merchant bar published prices are now as follows:
