This week, pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) demand in the Turkish domestic market has remained sluggish, while prices have kept trending sideways. The Turkish PPGI market, which has witnessed a slowdown in activity due to the Ramadan holiday, is expected to end the month without any recovery in activity, while any improvements will likely show up in September. In the meantime, domestic and export offers are still standing at the same levels.

In the Turkish domestic market, RAL 9002 0.5 mm 100 gr/m² zinc-coated PPGI prices are currently standing at $920-950/mt ex-works, exclusive of 18 percent VAT.
