Turkish mills’ witness low demand in export markets despite discounts

Demand in Turkey's flat steel export markets has remained weak, while prices have not registered any significant changes as compared to last week. Discounts are available for actual buyers in the export markets, just as in the Turkish domestic market, but local special offers to domestic buyers in foreign markets have limited demand in the export markets.
 
Currently, Turkey's hot rolled coil (HRC) export offers are at $590-600/mt FOB, cold rolled coil (CRC) offers are at $705-710/mt FOB, 0.5 mm hot dip galvanized coil (HDG) offers are at $810-820/mt ex-works, while export offers for pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) are standing at $920-930/mt ex-works
