SteelOrbis has learned that India's offers of HDG coils with the specifications of 0.019" x 48" G90 (0.48 mm x 1.219 m) for the US have trended sideways since last week, with most offers continuing to range from about $640 /mt to $660 /mt CFR FO US Gulf ports.
Offers of the same size and coating (0.019" x 48" G90) are also available from Taiwan, with most offers also remaining stable since last week, at a range of approximately $650 /mt to $670 /mt CFR FO US West Coast ports. South Korean offers of the same size and coating are also unchanged since last week with most offers still ranging from $600 /mt to $640 /mt CFR FO US West Coast ports. Some Chinese 0.019" G90 offers for the US are found at a range of $640 /mt to $660 /mt CFR FO US Gulf ports. However, most Chinese mills are not offering HDG competitively.
The offering price range from India to the US for HDG coils with the specifications of 0.012" by 40.875" G30 (0.30 mm x 1.04 m) has also remained unchanged since last week, with most offers still ranging from $650 /mt to $690 /mt CFR FO Gulf ports. The more competitive Chinese offers for 0.012" G30 range from approximately $670 /mt to $690 /mt CFR FO Gulf ports.
For the same size and coating (0.012" x 40.875" G30), Taiwanese offers have remained stable since last week, with most offers still ranging from $680 /mt to $700 /mt CFR FO West Coast ports. South Korean offers of the same size and coating have also remained at the same levels as last week, with most offers ranging from $640 /mt to $660 /mt CFR FO West Coast ports.
