China Steel Corporation (CSC), the largest and only integrated steel mill in Taiwan, has announced its domestic flats prices for September shipments. The new prices are at the following levels:

All the above prices exclude VAT and are on actual weight and ex-works basis.
Against the background of the ongoing upward trend observed in the global and local markets, CSC has decided to hike its prices by about 9.4 percent on average for September shipment. Thus, compared to ex-works prices for July/August shipments, the HRC domestic price has been raised by NTD 1,800/mt ($55/mt), the CRC price has increased by NTD 1,590/mt ($48/mt), HRP is up by NTD 1,520/mt ($46/mt), electrical steel (ES) prices have risen by NTD 2,870/mt ($87/mt), while the price of CGI has increased by NTD 3,170/mt ($97/mt) and EGC prices are up by NTD 2,520/mt ($77/mt).
