SteelOrbis has learned that Chinese stainless steel producer Taigang has reduced its export offers. Accordingly, the producer's export offers for 2 mm 304/2B stainless cold rolled coils (CRC) are at $2,850/mt FOB for June shipments.
Decreasing nickel prices and weaker demand level have caused the price decrease in question. Taigang had given export offers last month at the level of $3,050/mt FOB for May shipment, but these offers were subsequently decreased to $2,950/mt FOB.
