China’s flat export offer prices stable

During the week ending November 19, Chinese flat export offer prices have moved on a stable trend. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $260-270/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $290-310/mt FOB.

During the given week, Chinese steelmakers have been reluctant to lower their export offer prices further as they are already incurring losses, resulting in stable movement of their flat steel export prices.
