During the week ending September 27, average Chinese flat steel export offer prices have mostly moved on a stable trend, though softening slightly for hot rolled coil. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $570-580/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $610-620/mt FOB.

Since the National Day holiday (October 1-7) is approaching, it is expected that flat steel product export prices from China will continue to move sideways in the coming week.
