white goods sales rose 49% yoy to 446 000 units in October '04, bringing the ytd total to 4,270k units (up 71% yoy), according to
White Goods Manufacturers' Association data. October figures are 13% lower than September. The major decrease in sales came from refrigerators, ovens and dishwashers down 24%, 20% and 12% respectively.
