The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the rescission of its administrative review Thursday of the countervailing duty (CVD) order against hot-rolled carbon steel flat-rolled products from Brazil.
The review originally covered two companies-Usinas Siderurgicas de Minas Gerais (Usiminas) and its subsidiary Companhia Siderurgica Paulista (Copisa)-during the calendar year 2009.
Nucor Corporation had requested the review, but it subsequently withdrew its request.
