US DOC issues final results of AD sunset review on certain HR from Brazil and Japan

On August 6, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the final results of the expedited sunset review of the antidumping (AD) duty investigation of certain hot rolled flat-rolled carbon-quality steel products from Brazil and Japan.

As a result of this sunset review, the DOC determined that the termination of the suspended AD investigation would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping.

Accordingly, the DOC determined that the AD duty should continue at the following levels:
