Ukrainian exports in July 2006
According to the data revealed by the State Committee of Statistics of Ukraine, the country's exports of long products decreased 1.2 percent month on month to 612,500 metric tons in July of 2006. However, year on year figure indicates 30.8 percent increase in the exports of long products in July of 2006. In the first seven months of 2006, the exports of long products rose 16.7 percent year on year to 4.03 million metric tons metric tons. Ukrainian exports of flat rolled decreased 1.6 percent, including 0.7 percent decrease in exports of HR, 1.2 percent increase in exports of CR and 18.1 percent decrease in exports of other flat products, month on month to 762,660 metric tons in July of 2006. Year on year figure shows 1.4 percent increase in the exports of flat rolled in July of 2006. In January-July the exports of flat rolled decreased, however, by 5.3 percent year on year to 5.33 million metric tons. The exports of coke in July of 2006 increased 42.1 percent month on month to 35,890 metric tons. Year on year indexes show 29.8 percent decrease in exports of coke in July 2006 and 73.5 percent decrease in exports of coke to 230,400 metric tons in January-July of 2006. The export of iron ore in July of 2006 decreased 2.3 percent, including 6.2 percent decrease in non-agglomerated ore to 962,810 metric tons and 2.4 percent increase in agglomerated ore to 848,530 metric tons, month on month to 1.81 million metric tons. Year on year indexes show 25.1 percent increase in exports of iron ore in July and 8.8 percent increase in exports of iron ore to 11.45 million metric tons in January-July of 2006.
