Ukraine's Kremenchug Steel Casting Plant (KSZ) has postponed the recommissioning of its production operations until such time as demand for its products revives.
KSZ had initially halted its production operations for the March 1-16 period due to the lack of orders. Meanwhile, in March and April the producer plans to lay off 500 of its approximate 2,000-strong workforce for the same reason.
KSZ is specialized in the production of steel and iron castings for large trucks, freight cars and pipe billets, and produces custom-designed pig iron moldings.
