Ukraine and US agree to prolong quota agreement

The Ukrainian Ministry of Economy has announced that Ukraine and the US Department of Commence (DOC) have agreed to prolong for one more year (till October 30, 2008) their quota agreement regulating the supply of certain flat rolled products from Ukraine to the US.

However, the announcement did not include information on whether the US quota for Ukraine for the subject products has been increased from 142,000 metric tons to 150,000 metric tons, as had been sought by the Ukrainian side.
