Turkish basic metal manufacturing capacity use down slightly in June

In June this year, the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 75.7 percent, down from 75.8 percent recorded in May, while the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 75 percent in June 2014, according to the provisional data released by the Central Bank of Turkey.
 
Meanwhile, in June of the current year the capacity utilization rate in the manufacture of metal products, except machinery and equipment, was 61.3 percent, down from 65.1 percent in May and decreasing from 75.2 percent in June last year.
 
The capacity utilization rate in Turkey's general manufacturing industry, on the other hand, was at 75.1 percent in June this year, up from the 74.9 percent recorded in the previous month and decreasing from 75.3 percent in June 2014.
