Turkish basic metal manufacturing capacity use rises in May

In May this year, the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 75.8 percent, up from 74.4 percent recorded in April, while the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 71.9 percent in May 2014, according to the provisional data released by the Central Bank of Turkey.
 
Meanwhile, in May of the current year the capacity utilization rate in the manufacture of metal products, except machinery and equipment, was 71.5 percent, remained stable compared to April and decreasing from 71.8 percent in May last year.
 
The capacity utilization rate in Turkey's general manufacturing industry, on the other hand, was at 74.9 percent in April this year, up from the 74.1 percent recorded in the previous month and increasing from 74.4 percent in May 2014.
