According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistics Institute (TUIK),
Turkey's monthly industrial turnover index in March this year increased by six percent year on year and rose by 3.4 percent month on month, following the 2.4 percent month-on-month increase recorded in February.
In March this year, the industrial turnover index for the manufacture of basic metals in
Turkey increased by 2.3 percent year on year and moved up by 5.3 percent from the previous month. In March, the industrial turnover index for fabricated metal product
manufacturing, except machinery and equipment, in
Turkey increased by 5.7 percent year on year and was up 6.6 percent from the previous month.
