Tonggang commissions new continuous hot dip galvanizing line

Jilin-based Chinese steel producer Tonghua Steel (Tonggang) has commissioned its new continuous hot dip galvanizing line for cold rolled steel strip, which has an annual production capacity of 350,000 mt.

The production line in question was designed and built by New Metallurgy Hi-Tech Group (NMT), one of the leading suppliers of metallurgical technology and equipment in China.

Previously, NMT designed a 250,000 mt galvanizing line for Shandong-based Jinan Steel, which started production in May 2004.
