Chinese steelmaker Tianjin Jiecheng Galvanized Rolling Plate Co. has announced that it has commissioned its new galvanized steel project. The designed annual output capacity of the new production line is 600,000 mt of galvanized plate, which is two to three times the company's previous galvanized steel plate output capacity. Annual sales revenue from the production line is expected to reach RMB 300 million ($47.57 million), with an estimated annual gross profit of RMB 25 million ($3.96 million).

Meanwhile, the steelmaker's hot-dip aluminum-zinc-silicon alloy coated steel project, located in the High-End Metal Industrial Zone in the district of Xiqing in Tianjin, was commissioned earlier in the current month. Built at a cost of RMB 120 million ($19.03 million), the project consists of two hot-dip aluminum-zinc-silicon alloy coated steel strip production lines, each with an annual output capacity of 280,000 mt.
