Tokyo Steel hikes H-beam prices

Japanese steelmaker Tokyo Steel Manufacturing announced yesterday that it increased its sales prices for structural steel products by Yen 1,000-2,000/mt (approx. $8-17/mt) for July orders. According to the statement released by the company, the sales price of H-beams has been raised by Yen 2,000/mt to Yen 72,000/mt ($627/mt). On the other hand, the sales price of hot rolled coils has remained unchanged.
