Taiwan’s basic metal export orders up 15 percent in February

According to the statistics released by the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs, in February this year Taiwan's basic metal and basic metal product export orders amounted to $2.5 billion, increasing by 11.7 percent compared to the previous month and up 15.1 percent compared to February 2011.

The country's basic metal and basic metal product export orders in the first two months of the current year amounted to a value of $4.68 billion, rising slightly by 0.2 percent compared to the same period of 2011.
