Taiwan’s basic metal export orders down 15.45 percent in July

According to the statistics released by the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs, in July this year Taiwan's basic metal and basic metal product export orders amounted to $2.32 billion, increasing by 1.6 percent compared to the previous month and down 15.45 percent compared to July 2011.

The country's basic metal and basic metal product export orders in the first seven months of the current year amounted to a value of $16.9 billion, falling by 6.7 percent compared to the same period of 2011.
