SSWL’s net sales increase by 14 percent in August

The Indian steel rim producer Steel Strips Wheels Ltd (SSWL) has announced that it registered net sales of INR 862.1 million ($15.52 million) in August, up 14 percent compared to the corresponding month of 2011.

In terms of units sold, in August SSWL sold 835,000 steel wheel rims, rising by 4.1 percent compared to 802,000 wheel rims sold in the same month of the previous year.

In August this year, the company's export sales amounted to 74,940 wheel rims, compared to 131,618 wheel rims registered in August 2011.
